The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus Urgent Care continues its commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

After a lengthy evaluation process, St. Francis Campus Urgent Care is proud to announce that we have (once again!) earned Urgent Care Association Accreditation.

UCA accreditation is critically important in that it signifies patients. Steve Sellars, CEO says “This is a huge accomplishment that would not have been possible without a lot of long hours and hard work on the part of our urgent care colleagues. In addition to that, I think it bears pointing out this process, which took months to complete, was conducted amid the stress of an ongoing pandemic. I’m proud of our urgent care providers and staff, and thankful they’re part of the St. Francis Campus Urgent Care family!”

To maintain UCA accreditation, urgent care centers must undergo on-site inspections by a team of independent clinicians every three years. Each operator must demonstrate those centers meet or exceed accreditation requirements which include clinical processes that are consistent with industry standards and best practices.

The care you need, close to home.

St. Francis Campus Urgent Care centers are modern, state-of-the-art facilities providing walk-in care for minor illnesses and injuries seven days a week, including holidays.  Licensed providers are available to perform procedures like splinting and suturing, in addition to being equipped with digital x-ray, laboratory services, and an electronic medical records (EMR) system. Occupational Health services are also available for workplace injuries, DOT/Non-DOT Physicals, Blood Analysis, Return-to-Work Exams and Drug testing. St. Francis Campus Urgent Care is a proud member of the Premier Health Family of Urgent Care clinics.  If you are experiencing a life-threatening situation, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
